A. Alcohol is not illegal in Utah, as rumor seems to have many believe. In fact, the liquor laws are not all that different from those of many other states. There are many bars in Park City, and no, memberships are no longer required to enter them. There are also two state liquor stores in Park City. They are open normal business hours all week except for Sundays and holidays; Beer, wine, and liquor are sold there. Beer, at a lower alcohol percentage than that sold in the liquor store, can also be purchased at convenience stores and grocery stores.

A. A car is by no means a necessity if you are planning on remaining within Park City for the entirety of your stay. Park City offers a free shuttle that runs frequently and is very easy to use. This shuttle provides access to all three Park City ski resorts, shopping at numerous centers, historic Main Street, along with many neighborhoods and other points of interest. Most of Park City is also very pedestrian friendly. Discounted airport transportation can be booked through StayPC.
